i like costco also. I have a standard list of things that I like to buy there. Sting beans, romaine lettuce hearts, apples, lobster dip, paper towels, cheese sticks, milk, chicken breast, roasted chicken..
I struggle with having to pay just to be allowed in the store. I tried to go into our local Costco once just to see what they have, and I was not permitted in.
I have been with friends who are members since then and haven't seen anything worth getting a membership for.
Every so often, they give samples & sell those potstickers by the manufacturing brand, Green Chopsticks. I really like their chicken potstickers. (They also come in pork.) Costso calls thm a road show. I'm trying tp find out the schedule of when they come to Costo.
I've never been to Sam's Club. Hubby has a card through his mom so we don't pay. I like to go to Costco for the gas, the produce, and for good deals on products such as quinoa, sun dried tomatoes, and coconut oil. Also the toilet paper.
I used to have a Sam's near me, but it went out of business. I honestly haven't been to one since (about 10 years ago). I am a frequent customer and Costco and have not had any complaints!
Sam's Club is a part of the Walmart Co. and it shares some of the same labor problems as its parent company. Costco has a great track record for how it pays and treats its employees, so that factors into our decision as a family on where to shop.

We go to Sam's... When we were deciding they gave us a visitors pass at the Sam's guest counter.
Another fam member thought about getting Costco so we could use each other's to go.
