I'm just thinking how wonderful it would be not to do five different jobs in four days a week at two different schools... instead, I would be doing one job five days a week at 24 different schools

I hope this works out for you! I'm doing my work study in the Ed Tech office at my college and I love it. If I could get a job doing this for a school district (DEFINITELY including teaching the teachers how to use this stuff), I'd love it!
