Hi, I am currently seeking certification to teach. I need to interview 2 secondary teachers. I have posted in other forums and have had not help. This is an assignment for a class, please help!


1. Name and location of school

2. Total enrolment

3. Grade span of school

4. Date of interview

5. Name of interviewee

6. In which area(s) of the school’s curriculum do you work?

7. Tell me one or two factors in your life or in your education that led you to choose teaching as a career.

8. What were the circumstances that led you to teach at this level?

9. Please describe the preparation or training that you had for this teaching/

10. What do you like the most about your work?

11. What do you like the least about your work?

12. What would you say is the most important thing for me to know to be an effective classroom teacher?

13. What advice about preparation can you offer me?

14. Is there any other advice you have for us who are entering the teaching profession?

Thanks for your input, do you have any suggestions on how I could get this accomplished? I have contacted schools in my area with no results and I only know elementary teachers via my son's school... I really am at a loss
