PURPOSEFUL Valentine's Day Read Alouds

I know of many Valentine ’s Day-themed books. However, I’m interested in hearing about what read-alouds you use during your v-day theme & also what you use them for. I’m looking for texts that could help me teach comprehension strategies & go along with literacy activities (E.g. Valentine’s Day books that are specifically good for teaching character traits, filling out a story map, making inferences, text-to-self connections, good story response/crafts, ETC!). What are your recommendations?

Somebody Loves You Mr. Hatch is a great Valentine's read aloud picture book. There is a lot you could do with that book with some of the literacy activities you listed. Easy to find the book online and it might be in your public library.
