Hello! I am attending a job fair and was wondering what the best way is to assemble my important documents for the different schools. Some sites say staple, others say paper clip, and I've even seen some people show up with folders. Help?

Why not invest a few bucks and get flash drives imprinted with your name and phone number, and load the documents onto it?
You can probably get 25 of them for about $5-6 each.

That has to be the least sensical suggestion I've ever heard.
OP, I would print out a bunch and have a stack stapled and a stack paper clipped. Carry them around in a bag or something. When you find a school you want to give your information to, you'll be prepared no matter what.
I never gave out anything other than a resume. It had the URL of my online portfolio on it. It was a very basic format that listed my certifications, degrees, test scores, and experience in an easy-to-understand format. I put it on high quality paper.

I recently attended a job fair and used those report holder things that we put our reports in when we were in school. I bought a box of 50 at Office Max for maybe $10-$15. It seemed that those I handed it to liked it.
I used folders from an office supply store (can't remember which one) with a label on the front. I'm sure that it won't make or break whether you're hired or not, but it can't hurt to go the extra mile and stand out.

That's what I ended up doing - I also took my business cards and a clear shipping label and affixed them to the front of each report cover.
but I was quite disappointed. When I arrived this "comprehensive job fair" was nothing more than 30 tables set up for interviews :\ At least I am now prepared for the state education fair in 2 weeks!
