karebear, I'm thinking of you and your family. My sister is currently going through this too. Her mastectomy is scheduled for october 23rd.

Thanks everyone. Bloodwork is Oct 8, so we're specifically praying for that to be normal so she can proceed with surgery and begin recovery.

Update: surgery went well. Dr said he thought it was contained and not in the lymph nodes. Waiting on pathology report to know for sure. She was in very good spirits this afternoon, sitting up, good color, talking with visitors, had some lunch. So thankful for all of your prayers.
