Cover letter question
I am currently teaching math at a rural high school. I did my student teaching at a middle school level (6th, 7th, and 8th), teaching history. I am certified for both. I have had great results during my first 4 years of teaching math. I have over a 90% pass rate on the state taks test, teaching the most challenged students.
I desire to teach history in a suburban (DFW area) district at the middle school level. How do I put that on a cover letter without closing the door to teaching math at the high school level. My chances with math would likely be greater.
